Acciona Trasmediterranea is the largest ship owner for both freight and passenger services between the Spanish Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.


Acciona Trasmediterranea has one of the most modern and best equipped fleets in Spain, using the latest technological advances in security and quality for its on board services.


Trasmediterranea Ferries are equipped to provide the highest levels of comfort so that the freight driver or passenger finds that the journey is as relaxing as possible.


On board, you'll find amenities including a swimming pool, various class of cabin, bar, restaurant, cinema and TV room, disco, air conditioning to name but as few.


Specifically for freight transport, there are large ships with cutting edge infrastructures for housing lorries, refrigerator vehicles, and heavy rolling cargo.


Transmediterranea have a range of Super fast purpose built ro/ro freight ships.

These relatively recent build vessels have from 2000 to 3400 linea metre capacity.


All vessels have bar-cafeteria service and vessels with self-service and restaurant offer meals during the crossing.


In addition, all ships have dispenser machines for snacks and sweets that passengers may use at any time.


Meals are included in the price for passengers travelling on the Juan J. Sister, that operates weekly between Cadiz and the Canary Islands.


All Trasmediterranea ships have on board shopping where passengers may choose from a wide assortment of articles, gifts and press.


On Transmediterranea freight routes between Cadiz and the Canary Islands, Algeciras - Ceuta and Almeria and Malaga to Melilla, and also on the international ferry routes to Tangiers and Nador, the shops offer Duty Free goods.
