Summer Driving Bans in France

With the summer holidays upon us, the traditional French driving bans are about to commence.

Summer Weekend driving bans this year are as follows:
Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd July  
Saturday 28th & Sunday 29nd July
Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th August
Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th August
Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th August

Vehicles over 7.5tons are banned from driving from:
07:00 Saturday until 19:00 Saturday and again
23:59 Saturday until 22:00 Sunday.
Vehicles are free to drive between 19:00 Saturday and 23:59 Sat
